Hell is a song about fighting depression
I wrote it for an ex partner
She was suffering daily, but had to play strong in front of others, which extended her suffering
This song was my promise of support
Musically, it’s not really a sad song though…
It’s quite upbeat, contrasting with its lyrical theme
Like the happy face you need to put on for society
The main melody is played on the qanun, a happy but melancholic instrument
An ideal choice for such a song
