Backstory
Middle is the most self-reflective song of the album
We’ve all been through rough patches where we couldn’t go on
At the end, we learn that life is not black and white
It’s grey and we gotta love that grey in the middle
When writing Middle, I was in meditative state
Maybe you can tell by its instrumentation:
Cellos, acoustic guitars, small drums, repetitive themes designed to put you in a trance-like state
During the 2020 pandemic, 26 passionate fans from 15 different countries gathered to sing Middle in this beautiful music video
I hope you’ll keep singing this song even after the retreat ends
